Health and Safety

The Association provides regular information to member companies on updated health and safety law and regulations. It is of paramount importance that all producers are competent to assess the health and safety implications of each individual production and to prepare the appropriate risk assessments and take necessary action, including the appointment of competent specialists where circumstances demand.

The MVPA Health and Safety Policy Document includes information on:

  • Basic compliance with the law
  • Appointment of a health and safety officer
  • Preparation of a complete health and safety statement
  • Preparation of a risk assessment
  • Code of practice for producers
Documents Shoot and Office are specimen policies, devised to make preperation of these documents as straightforward as possible for MVPA members. Your policies for the office and the shoot should be separate.
